Configuring Your Point of Sale
Speed is critical at the retail counter. This guide helps you optimize your POS for the fastest possible billing experience.
1. Hardware Connectivity
Ensure your thermal printer and barcode scanner are connected. Go to POS Settings > Devices to run a test print. Our system supports all ESC/POS compatible printers.
2. Barcode Integration
Scan your first item to verify data mapping. If the item isn't found, check if the barcode is mapped correctly in the product master.
3. Quick Action Buttons
For items without barcodes, use the 'Quick Access' grid. You can group top-selling items for one-touch selection.
4. Payment Methods
Configure Cash, Card, and Mobile Wallet (bkash/Nagad) options. Go to Billing > Payment Config to enable specific methods.
